Standard Terms & Conditions.
All glass should be installed in accordance with:
• Correct Specification.
• Current National Building Regulation requirements.
• AAAMSA Selection Guide for Safety Glazing Materials
• Prices are subject to change
• All products are subject to a distribution levy
• All COD orders requires a full payment upfront.
• Noncompliance to the latter will result in a delay of agreed Manufacture Date.
• No refunds on deposits in the event of cancellation for already ordered/made Special-Order Goods.
• Pricing subject to final measurements done on site.
• Prices are subject to foreign currency exchange rate at time of order for imported stock.
• Prices are subject to quantities and unit sizes.
• Subject to stock availability.
• Delivery to site will be charged at a rate of 3% unless stated otherwise (a minimum delivery charge of R 400,00 applies).
• Delivery to regions outside our standard delivery area will be quoted upon order/enquiry
• The company will not be held responsible for any hidden or unknown factors which cannot be determined when visiting the site i.e., hidden cables, pipes, inferior support beams, foundations, Inc., unless the determination of such hidden factors are within the Company’s reasonable control.
Please bear in mind that the following items are not standard and will be charged for if required:
• Irregular shapes or cut-outs.
• Additional cladding will be charged for.
• Delivery to regions outside our standard delivery area will be quoted upon order/enquiry.
Technical Terms & Conditions.
• Design of all Fixtures and Accessories for balustrading & structural applications needs to be done by an Engineer. Glass components within the Application needs to be signed off by a Competent Person Glazing.
• The system should be the last component installed on site, however, should the client insist on pre-installation of track/s and glass, any damage incurred by other parties shall be for the client’s/responsible persons account, unless such damage having been incurred are within the Company’s reasonable control.
• Material will only be ordered once the shop drawings have been authorized by client/contractor.
• Drawings are provided without guarantee and warranty! In any way Frameless Fanatix does not warrant or guarantee any drawing in terms of its: Accuracy, Adequacy, Quality, Validity, Completeness or Suitability for any purpose.
Delivery Terms & Conditions
• Delivery will be scheduled not less than 48 Hours prior to completion of Order.
• Delivery will be done any time between 8:00 am and 16:30 pm business Hours from Monday to Friday.
• Every Delivery will be seen as Curbed Delivery unless otherwise stated by Company Management whereby our Delivery Staff will only be allowed to offload orders from the Delivery Vehicle and walk about a distance no more than 15 meters to offload the Finished Products.
• It is the Receiver’s responsibility to ensure that there is a suitable area for our Drivers to offload the orders in a dry, safe, and secure place.
• All Site Deliveries are to be supplied thoroughly with Google Locations to our Team to ensure safe and fast delivery 48 Hours prior to delivery time.
• Frameless Fanatix pride us with our staff and we expect our staff to behave as Ambassadors for the Frameless Fanatix Brand. Any mis conduct from our Drivers should be reported to your salesperson as soon as possible.
• Scratches Glass should be inspected/viewed from a distance of 3 meters at a 90˚ angle under normal lighting conditions. Normal lighting conditions shall mean lighting conditions under which the product is normally viewed. Light scratches in glass which are acceptable, are those which are under 75mm long in any area, and those which are longer than 75mm which do not encroach more than 75mm from the edge. In laminated glass, interlayer bubbles larger than 1.5mm diameter should not be allowed. Large clusters or close spacing of smaller bubbles should also not be allowed.
Glass Delamination
Some bubbles or edge delamination may be expected along exposed edges particularly where these are in contact with structural silicone sealants. Bubbles and edge delamination should not penetrate “lost” in the joint when viewed from a distance of 3 metres under the lighting conditions described under “scratches”. In metal coated glasses, pinholes in the coating area larger than 1.5mm diameter should not be allowed. Large clusters or close spacing of smaller pinholes should not be allowed in any area which a person would normally look through. When spandrel glazing is viewed from a distance of 3 metres against a dark uniform background under lighting conditions as described in “scratches and blemishes” and pinholes or scratches are not obvious, these are considered acceptable.
Glass distortion / colour variations Policy
There will always be some degree of distortion in glass. Toughened glass will exhibit more distortion than annealed glass. Some gasket systems such as roll-in or wedge gaskets also tend to create more distortion than other gasket systems. Colour, reflectance and transmission in functional glasses may vary slightly and is considered acceptable.
Indemnity
The Client acknowledge the risk involved in the supply of the products by Frameless Fanatix and hereby indemnify Frameless Fanatix against claims for harm/damage cause to him /his property due to reasonable control or unintentional act of any person, whether in the employ of Frameless Fanatix. This will include loss or damage caused because of fire or theft, or any economical lost pertaining to the harm/damage caused.
